Your data, handled like a guest in our house.

The short version: we collect what we need to ship bottles and answer emails, we sell none of it, and you can see or delete it whenever you like. The long version follows, in actual sentences.

What we collect, and why

To fulfill your order: your name, shipping address, email address and phone number (for carrier updates only). Without these, the bottle has nowhere to go.

To take payment: your payment details, which are processed by our payment providers and never stored on our own systems. We see the last four digits and the approval; the rest stays in the vault where it belongs.

To answer you: anything you send through our contact form or to hello@elariq.com, kept as long as the conversation needs it.

To improve the site: standard analytics such as pages visited, device type and rough region. Aggregated, not stalked. We want to know that the Ingredients page is popular, not what you personally read at 1am.

If you join the email list: your email address and your preferences, used exactly as promised at signup and abandoned instantly upon unsubscribe.

What we never do

We never sell your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone with a lanyard and a pitch deck.
We never send marketing email without your consent, and unsubscribe works on the first click.
We never store your full payment details on our servers.
We never ask for health information, and we would rather you not send it. Your ring size is between you and the ring.

Who we share data with

Only the partners required to run a small store: the payment processors that clear your card, the shipping carriers that move your parcel, the email platform that sends your order confirmations, and the analytics service described above. Each receives the minimum needed to do its one job, under its own contractual obligation to protect it. If the law compels disclosure, we comply with the law and no more than the law.

Cookies

We use a small set of cookies: essential ones that keep your cart from evaporating between pages, and analytics ones that count visits in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the essential ones being absent will mostly manifest as your cart forgetting you, which we admit is a very on-theme form of drainage.

How long we keep things

Order records are retained as long as tax and consumer law require. Support conversations are kept while they remain useful for helping you, then cleared. Email-list data lives exactly as long as your subscription does.

Your rights

Wherever you live, we honor the strong version of data rights: ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it for marketing. One email to hello@elariq.com with “PRIVACY” in the subject does any of the above, answered by a person within one business day, actioned within thirty.

Children

Our products and our website are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn we have, we delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in any way that matters, we will say so plainly on this page and, for material changes, by email. We will not bury a new paragraph and call it notice.
